We are searching for the best landscapers to become valued colleagues, delivering incredible gardens throughout Lancashire.
Foreman
Our foremen are a multiskilled bunch, able to handle all of the challenges a garden can offer.
Working from our scale plans, the foreman role needs to be an organised team leader, capable of the day to day running of a site, representing the company on the ground, and leading their team to greatness.
This is a full time position, working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, with 28 days holiday a year and company pension benefits.
The skills we are looking for are:
– Experienced in landscaping for a minimum of three years.
– Able to manage a team, including assessing and developing their ability as landscapers
– Competent at working from in house designs to execute a range of technical landscaping tasks to high standards. Sounds like you? We’d love to speak to you to learn more about more. – Work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
– A passion for working outdoors, plants, and beautiful outdoor spaces.
– A friendly, personable, and professional manner.
– Aspire to move forward in career and develop skills.
– Competent using relevant hand and power tools.
– Experience or willing to learn to operate relevant plant and machinery.
– Experiencing driving a tipper van is advantageous.
– Must have full driving licence and able to commute to Garstang.
– This role involves driving a company vehicle to sites, and as such you will need a full driving licence.
– Paving – Natural stone and porcelain. Excellent paving skills essential.
– Block/Brickwork and walling.
– Foundations, sub-base preparations and setting out.
– Decking, sleeper work and general carpentry.
– Fencing.
– Planting and soft landscaping.
– Excavator and plant driving.
– Able to reliably commute to Garstang.
Skilled Landscaper
If you have some of the skills above but not quite ready for the responsibility of running a team, our skilled position could be for you. As a second to the foreman, our skilled landscapers are capable of many of the aspects of landscaping such as paving and wood work allowing the smooth running of our sites.
