WYRE Gardens

Wyre Gardens are a small, independent, professional design and build company based in Garstang, Lancashire. Since our forming we have created stunning spaces throughout the county, building our reputation as respectful, reliable, and consistently incredible quality. From the fusing of Ashley Illman Garden Design with SGT Landscaping, we have now grown to more than dozen. Meet the team below.

About Mark

Whether it’s rock climbing and canoeing in the Lake District, or off piste skiing in the alps, Mark has always adored the outdoors. Mark spent many of his summers as an outdoor pursuits instructor, whilst turning to construction in the winters, before becoming a full time landscape gardener.

Mark loves to combine his wealth of construction knowledge with his passion for the natural world, transforming clients’ gardens into spaces in which they can truly thrive.

With a lifelong passion for creativity, Ashley toured the world with theatre productions for over a decade before combining his love for the dramatic with his keen interest in all things green, as he began his study of garden design.

Using traditional techniques blended with the latest technology, Ashley can’t wait to unlock the natural drama of your garden.

As a passionate gardener with a penchant for adventure, Jack cultivated his love for greenery amidst the backdrop of diverse landscapes across the globe. With a background in construction and quarrying, he’s been fortunate to traverse the earth, soaking in inspiration from every corner.

Jack’s journey into the world of gardening mirrors the eclectic tapestry of his life. From the rugged terrains of quarries to the serene gardens of distant lands, he’s found solace and inspiration in the beauty of nature. Much like an artist with a blank canvas, he approaches each garden as a masterpiece waiting to unfold, blending elements of artistry, design, and his worldly experiences.
